Here’s How to Watch the Hearthstone 2020 World Championship

The Hearthstone 2020 World Championship is all set to begin the matches tomorrow. Eight of the best players in the world will have a chance at the $500,000 prize pool and join the Hall of Champions. Matches will start on December 12 at 11:00 AM EST with the Championship match on December 13.

So, how do you watch this exciting tournament?

The good news is that it’s pretty simple. All you have to do is go to the official Hearthstone YouTube channel here. That’s right! It’s that simple. But this is the English language stream. For the official steam, the casters are:

  • TJ “Azumo” Sanders
  • Darroch “Darroch” Brown
  • Dan “Frodan” Chou
  • Jia “Jia” Dee
  • Alex “Raven” Baguley
  • Simon “Sottle” Welch

Tournament Format

The tournament will follow a 4-deck and Bo5 Conquest with a ban. The Group Stage will divide the players into two groups of four players. All matches are Bo5 with the top two from each group moving to the Playoffs. The Playoffs are a Single Elimination format with all matches in Bo5.

The prize pool is $500,000 and divided as follows:

  • Rank 1: $200,000
  • Rank 2: $100,000
  • Rank 3: $50,000
  • Rank 4: $50,000
  • Rank 5: $25,000
  • Rank 6: $25,000
  • Rank 7: $25,000
  • Rank 8: $25,000
