Something wicked arrives this Halloween in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. For a limited time, wizards around the world get the chance to meet none other than Salazar Slytherin's Basilisk. First encountered when the Chamber of Secrets was unlocked, be sure to avoid eye contact with anything slithering in the dark.
If you haven't used any of the Dark Arts Runestones you've collected then you're in luck. They give access to the special Harrowing Halloween Chamber in Fortresses. The more Dark Arts Runestones both you and your friends use and the higher their levels, the greater your chances of encountering the elusive Basilisk.
Beginning Wednesday, October 30 at 2:00 PM ET to Friday, November 1 at 2:00 PM ET, be prepared for:
- A limited-time Halloween Special Assignment with exclusive rewards, which includes a new Title and Badge for your Ministry ID.
- Harrowing Halloween Chamber where Dark Arts Runestones unlock unique foes which grant increased Dark Arts Family XP. These include:
- Dark Witch
- Dark Ministry Official
- Slytherin's Basilisk
- Increased sightings of Dark Arts Family Traces, as well as Moaning Myrtle and Young Ginny Weasley Traces.
- A free store bundle is going to be available in the Diagon Alley shop with Dark Arts Runestones and Spell Energy.
- Partner Fortresses grant bonuses, including:
- Increased chances of encountering Slytherin's Basilisk
- Bonus Dark Arts Family XP
- Increased Spell Energy in Chambers level 4 and higher.
