Released in June of this year, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is an augmented reality game for the mobile platform. The game is based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series and lets players visit real-world locations all the while casting spells, discovering artifacts, and of course, meeting many of the iconic characters from the series.

The game recently had its first Fan Festival during the Labor Day Weekend in Indianapolis. Players who were at the event got the chances to meet Charlie Weasley, who briefed them about how the Calamity had taken different dragon species and distributed them across the entire park. The dragons present were the Antipodean Opaleye, Chinese Fireball, Peruvian Vipertooth, and Welsh Green. Rewards for the event were just as exciting, including 2x Dark Detector Duration and the 25% Wizarding XP Bonus, among many others.

Aside from the Fan Festival, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite also has Brilliant Events. These events offer a unique Registry Page along with new Brilliant Foundables and even Special Assignments. The first was Fantastic Flora and Fauna and focused on Hagrid. The second Calamity Brilliant Event was focused on Harry Potter himself.
