Bandai Namco announced that it is bringing back a fan-favorite series which offers action-packed gameplay and combines it with custom gunpla building. That's right! The latest addition to the Gundam Breaker series is coming out this year. Gundam Breaker 4 is going to be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and the PC via Steam. This upcoming title is being released as part of Gundam's 45th Anniversary celebration.

Physical pre-orders for the game is now available with digital pre-orders set to start at a later date. Fans have the choice to pre-order the Collector's Edition which is being released in limited quantity. The Collector's Edition was made for gunpla lovers. It comes with a specially designed physical model kit of the Gunbarrel Strike Gundam in bold colors along with unique decals, parts and variants.

Build Your Own

In the game, players get access to more than 250 iconic Mobile Suits from across the Gundam series. They can then mesh together these parts to come up with their very own mecha units. Players can then head on over to the virtual battlefield to test just how good their creations are in co-op multiplayer. Get to fight across different missions to hack, slash, and of course, shot against the wave of enemy mechs. Players can then break off the parts of defeated mechs and use it to upgrade builds. They can also get new parts by taking down bosses.

New Features

While this upcoming game has the features that made the previous titles exciting, it's also introducing players to a new feature. In particular, players can use two different weapons and test out unique combos. There's no question that this is going to make it even more fun. Anyway in between battles, players get access to a mecha garage where they get to customize their creations using new parts and even put in new paint, decals, and even weathering.

Another new feature that's unique to this game is the diorama mode. What it does is allow players to construct scenarios using different backgrounds, environmental elements, and special effects. They can then put their gunpla creations and capture that perfect pose.
