There's a new Adversary Mode in GTA Online, and it's all about Judgement Day. This one has a small team of Riders going against a group called the Hunted in a kill-or-be-killed and hide-and-seek scenario.
Riders start each round on an LCC Sanctus equipped with extra health, speed, a Double Barrel Shotgun, and Stone Hatchet. The Riders also get a host of abilities when near their Sanctus like a brief burst of thermal vision, heartbeat sense, and health regeneration. While near their Sanctus, Riders can also deal increased damage and respawn if downed before the final minute.
To win, Riders need to find and eliminate the Hunted. The Hunted, meanwhile, just need to survive until dawn. In addition, Hunted can pick up weapons strewn all over the map. The good news is that Riders can't pick up these same weapons. Killing a Rider is difficult but it's a good way to bring back a fallen teammate.
For this week only, both teams can earn 2X GTA$ and RP for playing Judgement Day, along with a bonus of GTA$300,000 for winning three rounds.
Prepare for Halloween
Halloween starts early and there's a lot to be excited about. For example, just playing any day this week rewards you with the War mask. This is a good way to strike fear into the hearts of locals.
There's another goodie for you to get your hands on with the Gray Vintage Frank mask. To get this, just head over to the Smoking Room in the back of Record A Studios. Test out LD Organics’ most potent strain and play Short Trips as Franklin and Lamar. You also get double rewards by completing any Short Trip this week.
When All Hallows’ Eve draws near, things are going to get weird in Southern San Andreas. The LCC Sanctus, Albany Fränken Stange, and Albany Lurcher are returning, and they'll be accessible through the Southern San Andreas Super Autos in-game website until November 1.
