This week in GTA Online, get ready to celebrate the holiday season with the Festive Surprise. This one introduces cheer to Southern San Andreas with local businesses and properties showing off holiday decorations. In addition, weather forecasts call for that rare blanket of snowfall. However, there's also some chaos coming in with a rash of muggings by a local nuisance-maker and tense standoffs atop Weazel Plaza.
The Snowmen Cometh
The overnight snowfall has resulted in an army of snowmen emerging around Southern San Andreas. Players able to spot one should give in to their primal instincts, which means listening for the jingle of sleigh bells and destroying these wintry interlopers. In return, they get GTA$ and RP. Those able to find and destroy all 25 earn an additional GTA$125,000 along with the Snowman Outfit.
Beware The Gooch
During the holidays, there's always the chance of crime spiking because many are flushed with cash. That said, keep a close watch on The Gooch roaming the street, lurking in the shadows, and looking for the chance to empty the pockets of those unsuspecting players. Those able to fend off a surprise attack from this nefarious opportunist can earn a little GTA$ bonus and The Gooch Mask.
The Shootout
At the Weazel Plaza, an LSPD helicopter is engaged in a tense shootout against robbers and players are challenged to get involved and become the hero. Be sure to strip the thieves of any cash they have and be rewarded with a brand-new weapon. Those who opt for a more permanent solution can earn the Season’s Greetings skin for the Pistol Mk II.
