Granblue Fantasy: Versus Finally Gets A PC Release

Granblue Fantasy: Versus finally gets a release for the PC exclusively through Steam. This is good news indeed for PC players. The game was already released for the PlayStation 4 earlier this month.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a fighting game that is based on Granblue Fantasy. The latter is mainly a role-playing game that offers turn-based battles. Versus, meanwhile, has players defeat opponents by using different attacks that lowers their life bar to zero. However, the game also offers a story mode which, unlike the main game, is instead is more of a side-scrolling and beat-em-up experience.

So what can players expect for the PC version of Granblue Fantasy: Versus? For one, it's going to have the same Japanese and English voice options, much like the PS4 version. In addition to Japanese and English, the PC version also offers text languages in German, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Korean, along with Simplified and Traditional Chinese, are expected to be offered at a later time.

This being a PC port, players can expect graphical customization options. There's also going to be support for different input types like customizable keyboard and even gamepads.

By the way, it’s important to mention that while the PS4 version is rated “T for Teen,” the release for PC has yet to be rated. That’s not all that’s different, though. There won't be any cross-play with PS4. In addition, the PC version of Versus isn't going to include any of the bonus features from the Granblue Fantasy games.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus Standard Edition is available on Steam for $59.99. A Character Pass Set is also available for $79.99 which not only includes the base game, but also comes with:

• Character Color Pack DLC 1-3
• Character Pass DLC for 5 extra characters
• Lobby Avatar “Nice-abs Vyrn”.
