Goku Goes on a New Journey in New DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

The story in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot comes to a thrilling end with the launch of Goku's Next Journey. This newest DLC is available on all platforms and priced at $13.99. Those who have the second Season Pass getting this new content for free.

The new DLC takes place towards the end of Dragon Ball Z. It is during this time when Goku decides to join the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. As he fights his way for the title of World Martial Arts Champion, he gets to encounter old friends while also meeting new enemies. Players get to use combo attacks and powerful strikes to either defeat opponents or simply knock them out of the ring.

Uub Arrives

The story is set a decade after the epic battle with Majin Buu. Goku is eager to be part of the World Tournament for the first time when a mysterious boy named Uub appears before him. It turns out that he's the reincarnation of Majin Buu and an opponent that Goku has been looking forward to.

The thing is, at the start Uub doesn't know how to fly or even use Ki. However, as the fight progresses, he grows and eventually is able to compete with Goku on an equal level.

In addition to a new story arc, the DLC also comes with new super attacks and even new soul emblems. By the way, it's possible to enjoy the new DLC with needing to clear the Main Story.

A Dragon Ball Experience

In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, players get to experience the story of Dragon Ball Z from the epic events that happened to the light-hearted side quests. There are even some never-before-seen story moments that's sure to answer those questions about the lore.

The game players go through battles on a scale never before seen. For example, they get to fight on vast battlefields having destructible environments. Players also get to test their fighting skills in epic boss battles against some iconic enemies like Frieza, Cell, and Raditz, to name a few.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. It's also out for the PC through Steam.
