Ghost of Tsushima received a minor update yesterday. Patch 2.15 brings a new special armor set to the game. A new difficulty for the multiplayer mode, Legends, has been added as well. Speaking of Legends, some bugs related to this mode are also squashed. Stuttering issues during gameplay were also addressed and the new Platinum difficulty was added for Survival Mode.
The new armor set is based on Horizon Forbidden West. You will need to go to The Forbidden Shrine which is present to the north of Iki Island. After solving the puzzle, you will get your hands on the armor set.
Patch 2.15 Changelog
Single-player
The Forbidden Shrine can now be found to the north of Iki Island. Interact with it and solve the puzzle for a special armor created in collaboration with our friends at Guerrilla.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends
Added new Platinum difficulty level for Survival. This is still standard gameplay and will not feature weekly modifiers like Nightmare, but is harder than the gameplay offered in Gold difficulty, with better rewards and a higher chance for high-level gear.
Added Block button to Social tab in the pause menu. This will allow players to add anyone they have matched with in-game directly to the PlayStation’s built-in blocklist to prevent matchmaking with that player in the future.
Addressed an issue that was causing brief stutters during gameplay.
You can check out the complete patch notes via the official site as well.
Horizon Forbidden West will launch exclusively on PS4 and PS5 February 18. A PC port hasn’t been confirmed, but a previous Nvidia leak suggests that the game will get a PC version later. The PC port of Ghost of Tsushima was mentioned in the leak as well. We are hopeful that both games will eventually make their way to PC.
