"Fortnite" has dropped an extreme surprise for gamers who want to take battle royal to the next level.
With the new Proximity chat on the Delulu LTM, there are a lot of things that will change in how players interact with their friends and other people in the game.
What's Coming Next on 'Fortnite' Update 37.30
The much-awaited update 37.30 is turning out to be one of the most promising patches in recent "Fortnite" updates. The downtime will bring an onslaught of new content, and one of these is the Dino Megazord debuting as Chapter 6 Season 4 Battle Pass's secret skin, GameRant writes.
The players will also get the opportunity to control this mech and wreak havoc on the island, and it will come with a retro Mighty Morphin Power Rangers feel.
Throwing more instability into the equation, Lord Zedd's addition has already changed storm activity. Epic Games also brings an updated "Exact V-Bucks" feature, providing players with enhanced chances to snatch exclusive bundles before they disappear from the Item Shop.
Proximity Chat Finally Becomes Reality
According to Mirror, rumors regarding proximity chat in "Fortnite" have been going around the internet for months. Now, the leaks are finally confirmed: the feature is indeed launching officially in a limited fashion via the upcoming Delulu Limited Time Mode (LTM).
Proximity chat will invite voice-based engagement, allowing players to collaborate or troll others in good old-fashioned battle royale style, popular leaker @Hypex reveals.

'Fortnite' Delulu LTM Release
The "Fortnite" Delulu LTM goes live on Friday, Sept. 19. The fans won't have long to wait, though, to experience it for themselves.
Active Creator Code influencers will get early access a day prior on Thursday, Sept. 18, so gameplay teasers and live streams will inundate platforms such as Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube beforehand, before the public release.
How Redditors React to Proximity Chat
In a month-old Reddit post, "Fortnite" players shared their opinions about the proximity chat. According to one user, this would pave the way to an "ultra toxic" setting in the battle royale.
"Can't wait to yell 'Don't be suspicious' when I'm in a bush somewhere. Scare the sh*t out of someone listening in," another player wrote.
"Half of the player base will be banned in the first week," another "Fortnite" gamer replied on the thread.
"More opportunities for toxic kids to bully people online...it better be off by default..." another concerned fan said.
