It’s time party once again and Fortnite is bringing back none other than Diplo. This is going to be the artist’s second foray into Party Royale after his previous show, which was back in May of this year. Dubbed as Diplo Presents: Higher Ground, this 30-minute show is happening this Friday, July 31 at 2 PM ET.
The good thing about this party is that no RSVP is needed. All you need to do is log-in and join the fun. Just in case something comes up and you won’t be able to attend, not to worry since there’s going to be a full rebroadcast of the entire performance on August 3 at 9:00 PM ET.
Now, if you want to attend the party, you need to be dressed for the part. To help players celebrate, the Envision Outfit is sure to take this party to the next level as it makes its debut in the Item Shop beginning on July 30 at 8:00 PM ET. There’s also the music-reactive Back Scratcher Back Bling and Light Knives Pickaxe. Available as well are four outfits that are all music-reactive. These are the new Party Diva, Party MVP, Party Star outfits, and the Nightlife outfit.
Now a party wouldn’t be complete without an afterparty. There’s the music-reactive Afterparty Wrap, which is going to be available to all players for free. To get this one, just log-in to the game any time between July 30 at 8:00 PM ET and August 1 at 8:00 PM ET.
Summer Splash
Aside from the upcoming party, the Fortnite Summer Splash 2020 is still ongoing. This means players still get to enjoy a rotation of LTMs which includes Fog of War, Close Encounters, Unvaulted, and Catch, among many others.
This also fits in with the whole theme for Season 3 of Chapter 2. The new season also introduced Aquaman to the game. Players who manage to finish his five maritime Challenges unlock his superhero outfit. It’s not all Aquaman, as Black Manta has also made his appearance. He is currently available in the Item Shop and brings with him his signature Manta Blades Dual Pickaxe.
With the ongoing Season 3, Summer Splash, and now Diplo concert, there’s indeed a lot of things happening right now in Fortnite.
