At the end of The Flash Season 3 episode 3, ‘Magenta,’ a seemingly invisible meathuman killed Edward Clariss in prison. The promo for The Flash Season 3 episode 4, ‘The New Rogues,’ suggests it could have been Mirror Master. Grey Damon ( Aquarius ) will play Mirror Master, but he won’t act alone. His accomplice, The Top, will join him.

A man in the comics, Ashley Rickards ( Awkward ) will bring The Top to life as a woman. The two villains have some sort of business with Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold, who will also appear in the episode. According to producer Todd Helbing, there’s a big fight between Captain Cold and Mirror Master.

"It's the origin story of [Mirror Master], but it's this struggle between Mirror Master and Captain Cold and you get to see who comes out on top,” Helbing told E! News in August.

Mirror Master’s character description reveals he “ embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen.” But Everyone knows the smoothest thief in Central City is Captain Cold...and he doesn’t do well with confrontation.

With the power to travel through reflective surfaces, Mirror Master’s abilities could quite easily overpower Snart’s cold gun. With the help of a superhuman spinner like The Top, this won’t be an easy battle for Captain Cold. However, the episode synopsis reveals The Flash and Jesse Quick will get involved.

It remains to be seen how Captain Cold survived the Oculus explosion on Legends last season. But it’s probably because of Flashpoint, so it will be interesting to see if he’s any different. In the Flashpoint timeline from the comics, Captain Cold was actually Central City’s biggest hero. Check out the episode 4 synopsis below.

Barry (Grant Gustin) continues to train Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) and when a new meta human, Mirror Master (guest star Grey Damon), appears on the scene he lets her tag along. Mirror Master has teamed up with his old partner, Top (guest star Ashley Rickards), and is looking for Snart (Wentworth Miller) to even a score. Jesse is quick to join the chase but defies one of Barry’s orders which results in disastrous consequences.

Alchemy could be the reason Mirror Master and The Top are causing trouble for Team Flash. It’s safe to say Alchemy isn’t too happy that The Flash is screwing up his plans, which could explain why the episode 4 promo shows Barry stuck inside a mirror in Star Labs.

Like Edward Clariss and Magenta, The Top and Mirror Master could be a direct result of Flashpoint. Alchemy revealed last episode he’s recruiting people who had powers from The Flashpoint timeline for his own mysterious agenda. Do you think Mirror Master is another one of his recruits? Let us know in the comments below!

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
