Mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes will get a new set of Heroes in the coming weeks. First, Soleil, Shirt and Siegbert will arrive on Monday, Dec. 4, as part of the new Children of Fate Summoning Focus. Rhajat will be up for grabs in Block A of the Summoning Focus: Enduring Love, from Dec. 2 through Dec. 12.

All the new characters previously starred in Fire Emblem's Conquest and Birthright Nintendo 3DS titles back in 2015.Conquest or Birthright offered players with two drastically different storylines and decisions to follow. Its memorable characters and story was ultimately better when players experienced both.

Nintendo released a trailer showing off the new characters and what they’re capable of. Soleil, for instance, can learn several skills at 5 stars, including Firesweep S+, Blazing Wind, Drive Res 2, and Darting Blow 3. Shiro can learn Bright Naginata, Swap, Def Tactic 3, and Steady Stance 3. Siegbert can learn Dark Greatsword, Dragon Fang, Death Blow, and Atk Tactic 3. Since Rhajat is not available just yet, there’s no information out on her moves at this time. Still, it looks like she's more than capable of holding her own.

Fire Emblem Heroes features dozens of heroes to add to your roster, but they’re only obtainable via Hero Summons, which find you using orbs to bring additional heroes to your game. Orbs can be earned in-game or purchased with real-world money, though it’s a gamble as to what kind of heroes you’ll receive when you spend orbs. The mobile nature makes Fire Emblem Heroes a less complex affair than the other Fire Emblem games in the series. If you're looking for deep and challenging strategy games like Fire Emblem Fates, you'll want to try out one of the Nintendo 3DS or Game Boy Advance iterations.

Recently, the Musou game Fire Emblem Warriors debuted on Nintendo Switch in September, offering a hack-and-slash adventure rife with familiar faces from the Fire Emblem series and plenty of enemies to hack to pieces. There hasn't yet been a "proper" Fire Emblem game released for the Switch just yet, but it's coming further down the line.
