Final Fantasy VII Remake is scheduled to release on April 10 and Square Enix is quite confident that the release window will not be delayed. However, the company is also worried that retail copies of the game might see a hit.

The information was revealed on Final Fantasy VII Remake's official Twitter account where Square Enix said that the game will release on time despite the coronavirus pandemic. The company also said that due to changes in the retail and distribution landscapes, it may be hard to find physical copies of the new Final Fantasy.

People who pre-ordered Final Fantasy VII Remake on Amazon were warned that the game might not ship on the official release date of April 10. This information came right after Amazon suspended the shipment of all nonessential items to its warehouses.

"We are seeing increased online shopping, and as a result, some products such as household staples and medical supplies are out of stock,“ Amazon said about not only the situation with Final Fantasy VII Remake, but also about anything non-essential. "With this in mind, we are temporarily prioritizing household staples, medical supplies, and other high-demand products coming into our fulfillment centers so that we can more quickly receive, restock, and deliver these products to customers."

If you're itching to play the game before its release, the demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently live on PlayStation Store worldwide.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a bold step in the direction of reimagining and recreating the popular title that released back in 1997 on the original PlayStation. This adventure is filled with memorable characters and leveraging the cutting edge technology available at that time, Final Fantasy VII turned out to be favorite among fans. With the remake dropping on the PS4 on April 10, fans are more than excited to hop onboard the nostalgic ride again.

Even though Square Enix has warned us that there may be some delays with the game's physical release, we'll make sure to keep you updated whenever the company comes up with an update.
