Alert Farming Simulator 22 players! A free update has been released and it brings 16 new machines for you to play with. While the update isn’t that big, these new machines are surely welcome to your collection.

By the way, the free update is part of Patch 1.2 and it also includes several QoL improvements. Developers noted that the update should be downloaded and installed without a hitch automatically before you launch the game. But if you want to check the progress, you can do so on your Steam Library.

Let’s proceed to the 16 new machines. Special mentions are the Case IH Quadtrac, Case IH Rowtrac, and Case IH Steiger. All of these are making a comeback with the free patch.

For the new brands, expect the ABI 1600 and ABI 550 from American manufacturer ABI Attachments. Also new to the game are the Kongskilde GXF 3605 P and Kongskilde GXT 13005 P by Danish Kongskilde Industries, and Vervaet Hydro Trike 5x5 by the Dutch company Vervaet. Here are the others included in the new 16 machines:

  • Amazone T-Pack U
  • Bomech Trac-Pack
  • Fliegl Agrartechnik Noah TTW 140
  • Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC
  • Krone GX 520
  • KUHN PRIMOR 15070 M
  • Landini Series 7 Robo-Six
  • Samasz Tornado 252

In terms of better gaming, developers added numerous enhancements for your farming experience. They also introduced new placeables, such as a mobile home and an old barn. Besides that, an option for free placement is now added to the game. This should give a more dynamic farm-building experience.

Developers recognized that working on fields can be difficult, especially with monitoring. So, they make them smarter than before. Now, the field info can show you yield potential and the recommended tools to remove weeds. Check out some of the improvements below:

  • Adjusted contract vehicles accordingly as some had wrong tools for the job at hand
  • Adjusted prices for used vehicle sale
  • Adjusted repair costs
  • Adjusted ridge markers on seeders to not dig up stones anymore
  • Changed display of day numbers
  • Changed price fluctuations display, so it shows actual history of prices of the last 12 months
  • Fixed an issue where AI workers were unable to use and turn plows correctly
  • Fixed an issue where leased machinery for a contract would disappear once accepted
