The launch of F1 22 is still a month away, but we’ve been learning what the game has to offer and what players can look forward to. This time, we take a peek at the other features.

For starters, there’s the Adaptive AI which helps new racers. With this feature, players can customize the experience to match their current skill level. This allows them to race competitively from the time they hit the track. There’s also the addition of accessible handling to let players remove the complexities and have the choice to increase the difficulty at the end of every race weekend.

Players can also try the improved Practice Programs, where they can learn the circuit due to the enhanced on-track visuals. It should help improve lap times even before joining an official race.

A Social Hub

The game isn't only about racing now F1 Life is here. This is the new social hub where players can show off their collection of supercars, fashion accessories, and even trophies. In fact, customization is now beyond the track with various branded clothes and accessories that players can collect by completing in-game challenges.

Upon entering the game, players start at their personal hub, which also serves as the Multiplayer lobby.

My Team Icons

Pre-orders for the game are now available, and those who get the Champions Edition receive not only extra content but also three days of early access.

One of the extra content that can be received is the new My Team Icons of Jacques Villeneuve, Mark Webber, and Nico Hülkenberg. Players can also enjoy the two drivable safety cars, Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series and Aston Martin Vantage.

Other Features

In addition to what’s already mentioned, the game sees the return of My Team now expanded with three starting points. Other features include the 10-year Career with two-player functionality and multiplayer that offers offline split-screen.

In a statement, F1 Senior Creative Director at Codemasters Lee Mather revealed that the game lets players live their Formula 1 fantasies on and off the track. He added that there is a lot to be excited about this upcoming game, like new cars, regulations, and more control of race day moments.

F1 22 is coming out this July 1 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Learn more about the game here.
