Before the first Iron Man set the tone for the years to come, comic book fans never would have dreamed they’d see their favorite characters come off the page into movie theaters and TV series. Now, there’s more rumors and release dates than any sane person can keep track of. Marvel and DC have a release schedule that reaches all the way to 2020 while Sony and Fox are trying to squeeze their way into the mix. There are some big name pictures opening in 2017 -- from Hugh Jackman’s last stint as Wolverine to Peter Parker’s first time in his new spidey suit. But to give you a glimpse into what the future holds, here’s all the comic book movies to come in the next few years.
