The Elder Scrolls Online - Gates of Oblivion was teased over a month ago and was set to drop on January 21. However, Bethesda has decided to postpone it to a later date, on January 26, due to the inauguration day in the US on January 20. This decision was made to play it safe because the majority of employees are living and working near the capital.

The Elder Scrolls Online - Gates of Oblivion 2021 Global Reveal Event will go live on https://www.twitch.tv/bethesda on January 26 at 5 PM EST. The event will feature ZeniMax Online Studios’ director Matt Firor and Bethesda’s senior V.P, Pete Hines. They will introduce 2021’s awaited new chapter and the roadmap for the whole year teased during The Game Awards.

The Elder Scrolls Online’s Creative Director Rich Lambert will also join to talk about the expansion's gameplay, world setting, quests, and even the brand-new journey players will embark upon.

For those who are interested in Twitch drops, log into Twitch and link your account to Bethesda. You will receive a Viridescent Dragon Frog pet for just watching the stream. It is a cool non-combat pet that can be added to your in-game home.

Finally, The Elder Scrolls Online will have something special. Jessica Folsom and Gina Bruno from the community team will dive more into the upcoming releases. Bethesda also has some great plans for fans after the announcements, so don’t forget to follow their social media and check their website. More details on the announcement can be found here.

So, what are your thoughts on the upcoming reveal for The Elder Scrolls Online - Gates of Oblivion? Do you think they will bring more players with the upcoming update? Personally, I am excited to see what Bethesda has in store for fans. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
