In September we learned that Xbox Games Pass will be offering EA Play subscriptions to Games Pass subscribers. We already know that EA Play will become available to Games Pass subscribers on November 10, the same day when the Xbox Series X/S consoles launch. However, it has now been announced that current Games Pass users can pre-download EA Play games to access them immediately when they become available on November 10.
Xbox Games Pass already has an impressive library of games, and with Microsoft acquiring Bethesda Games recently, fans are expecting popular Bethesda titles to become available on Games Pass. If you didn't already know, one of the biggest Bethesda titles, Doom Eternal, is already a part of Games Pass. And, with the inclusion of EA Play, the subscription service is only going to offer a richer gaming experience to subscribers.
Here is the list of available EA Play games on Xbox Games Pass:
- Need For Speed Heat
- Madden 20
- Battlefield V
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- Dead Space 3
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
- Anthem
- Rocket Arena
- Sims 4
It's important to know that while you can pre-download these games, you cannot actually launch them until November 10.
Xbox Games Pass is also losing four games this month, namely Darksiders 3, Munchkin: Quacked Quest, The Talos Principle, and Tracks - The Train Set Game. Nonetheless, the arrival of EA Play titles should make up for these losses.
Microsoft's Xbox Games Pass has become one of the most popular gaming subscription services available today, and for all the right reasons. The $10 per month subscription gives gamers access to a vast library of games that can be played on PC, Xbox One, and Android devices via xCloud. Xbox Head Phil Spencer also recently revealed that he wouldn't mind bringing the Games Pass service to PS4 and Nintendo Switch, so PS4 and Switch users might also be able to enjoy the service in the future.
