The excitement heats up. WePlay!

The Dota 2 WeSave! Charity Play tournament is on the last stages as most regions are entering the Finals. The only difference is that the EU and CIS regions have combined and now are still in the Semifinals. In addition, the the North America region is going to have a 3v3 All Star game.

EU & CIS

The Europe Region had some interesting matches. In the first one it was Team Liquid against OG. Liquid was unforgiving and ended the first game with a total of 43 team kills against 10 from OG. In the second, it was still Liquid with a score of 26-5.

However, OG fans don’t need to worry as the team had fun in this tournament. We say that because for this charity event, Omar Mohammad "Madara" Dabachach and Sébastien "Ceb" Debs served as stand-ins for Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen and Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng. Even better, Johan "N0tail" Sundstein switched positions with Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan.

For the second EU match, it was Team Secret against Team Nigma. The first game was quite a long one with Nigma eventually getting the win. The second game was quite short and it was still Nigma that grabbed the win.

For the CIS Region, it was Virtus.pro against HellRaisers. Vp didn’t have any problems with the first game as they grabbed the lead from the start and didn’t look back. HellRaisers didn't take the loss sitting down as they dominated VP for the second and third games.

NA

For the North America region it was business associates versus Evil Geniuses. The first game was all business associates as Evil Geniuses could not find an answer to ba's picks. The victory for business associates appeared to be short-lived as EG had no problems with the next two games. EG ended the second game with three team members having zero deaths. The third game was exciting as this time EG had three members that had double-digit kills. EG had 53 overall team kills.

SA

In South America, beastcoast tried and failed to get a win against Thunder Predator. In the first game, Thunder Predator had 37 kills against a measly six from beastcoast. For the second game, beastcoast managed to reach 19 team kills though this was a far cry from Thunder Predator’s 46.

CHINA

In China, it looks like PSG.LGD is back to form as they defeated Invictus Gaming 2-0. Lu "Somnus丶M" Yao, also known as “Maybe", had strong performance for both games.

In the second match it was all Vici Gaming as they didn’t give EHOME a chance. It was the performance of Zeng "Ori" Jiaoyang that carried VG to win the match.

SEA

For the SEA Region, the TNC Predator versus Team Adroit match was exciting for a different reason. It turned out that Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte was having some issues joining the game so TNC had to turn to its stand-in who was none other than Anathan "ana" Pham. Yup that’s the same ana who was part of the two-time TI champion OG.

TNC managed to beat Adroit in the first game, though it was mainly thanks to Armel Paul "Armel" Tabios. Meanwhile, ana had a good performance on Slark. For the second game, TNC had trouble finding an answer to John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas who was on Phantom Lancer. In the third game it was Natsumi- who had 14 kills and one death and allowed Adoit to win the series.
