Day one of the DreamLeague Season 11 tournament is done, and the results are not surprising. The top Dota 2 teams all lead their respective groups.

Dubbed as the Stockhom Major, the tournament has 16 teams fighting for a chance to get a large portion of the $1 million prize pool and the more important 15,000 DPC points. Nine of the teams in the top ten DPC rankings are part of the Major. The only team left out is TNC, who was booted out of the Southeast Asia Qualifier by WG.Unity.

Group A was dominated by Chongqing Major Champion Team Secret who did not suffer any losses. In the Winner's Match, Team Secret overpowered Team Liquid, finishing the first game just above 24 minutes with Nisha's Terroblade scoring 6 kills and YapzOr's Leshrac contributing with 7 kills. The second game again went to Team Secret thanks to YapzOr on his Puck.

For Group B, the top spot went to PSG.LSD who only lost one match against Ninjas in Pyjamas. In their Winner's Match, the first game was won by Ninjas in Pyjamas, though PSG.LGD had a chance to close it. PSG.LGD later had a strong showing, taking the second game. The third game featured an even match, but PSG.LGD would eventually get the win on Ame's Morphling and XM's Death Prophet, contributing 15 kills and 10 kills respectively.

In Group C, Kuala Lumpur Major winner Virtus.pro defeated Mineski to take the top spot. Mineski had the first game thanks to AhJit's Juggernaut getting 18 kills. VP took revenge on the next game, with No[o]ne on his Invoker and Ramzes666 picking Lone Druid. The third game was short, just barely finishing at 22 minutes, with VP taking the win.

Group D saw Evil Geniuses claim the top spot after beating out Vici Gaming. The first game was easily won by EG with Arteezy on Ursa and Suma1L on Mirana. Arteezy ended the game with 10 kills while Suma1L had 11 kills. The second game played out the same, with EG picking the same three core heroes. This time, Suma1L would get 15 kills on his Mirana. The main difference was that in the second game, Suma1L went for the Hyperstone instead of a Black King Bar.

As of this writing, there are three matches left in order to wrap up the group stage and proceed to the Main Event. The first match of the Main Event has J.Storm going against whoever loses between Vici Gaming and Natus Vincere.
