Doctor Strange releases this week and so does a new Wonder Woman trailer. There were rumors of new footage last week, but now it’s been confirmed a full trailer is attached to the Doctor Strange North American theatrical release on Nov. 4. This means we’ll probably see a Wonder Woman trailer anytime between now and Thursday, when the first screenings of Doctor Strange begin.

It was previously thought the new trailer was attached to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, but Doctor Strange certainly feels like a better fit. Gal Gadot’s portrayal of Wonder Woman was one of the highlights of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. She’s one of the most iconic female superheroes of all time, so it’s only right her solo debut focuses on her origin story.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman will play a large part in the DC extended universe moving forward, for the Justice League movie in particular. After Superman’s sacrifice, Batman and Wonder Woman are compelled to recruit a team of heroes. Three of the new members were featured briefly in Dawn of Justice : Cyborg. The Flash and Aquaman, the latter two will each get their own films in 2018.

Wonder Woman arrives in theaters June 17, 2017.
