Blizzard announced not long ago of providing an update to Diablo Immortal every two weeks, and the company delivered on that promise. The latest patch for the game features three limited-time events that will surely make players happy until the next update is released.

Fractured Plane

PvE players who are bored and want some sort of a challenge can take on the new Fractured Plane limited-time event. This event puts players in a 15-floor gauntlet against the hardest and fiercest minions from hell. If you think this is a cakewalk, think again.

Unlike other activities in Diablo Immortal, players will not be using their usual gear, gems, and skills. Instead, they’ll be using a pre-selected set of skills and some equipment to start with.

Players who want to progress through this event will have to plan their actions accordingly and make the best use of the things given to them. They will find gear along the way, which complements their pre-selected skills.

In addition to gear, players can acquire some Chaos Coins for banishing the minions of hell. This currency can be spent on the Chaos Broker for items or Shards of Fortune. These shards increase the player’s Fortune Rating, giving them a higher chance of getting Legendary items from the chests found on each floor. Furthermore, those who have managed to finish all 15 floors without dying more than five times will receive a reward.

Echo of the Immortal

A new repeatable game mode is now available in Diablo Immortal as well. The Echo of the Immortal is a limited-time PvP event open to all players Level 40 and above.

Here, 15 players will fight against a randomly chosen player imbued with the power of the Immortal. Once the empowered player is defeated, the match becomes a free-for-all, and the last one standing claims the reward.

The Echo of Immortal starts every 3 a.m. server time and will last from August 17 to September 14.

Into the Dark Wood

Players who are keener on doing quests than engaging in challenging endeavors can indulge in the new event, Into the Dark Wood.

From August 17 to August 31 at 3 a.m. server time, players can finish “Into the Dark Wood” quests to receive various rewards. Finishing these quests unlocks certain milestone rewards, including the festive Wreath of the Blood Portrait Frame.
