Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is now available for next-gen consoles. The digital version of Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition for the PS5 is offered starting today, though the one for the Xbox Series X/S was released earlier this week. The physical versions, meanwhile, are set to be launched on December 1. Both digital and physical versions are priced at $39.99.

Fans know that what makes Devil May Cry 5 a good addition to their game collection is its award-winning stylish action. The Special Edition has that and adds next-gen features like improved audio, visuals, and performance. Experience increased frame rates of as much as 120FPS while playing in 4K fidelity. Get to battle amidst life-like reflections and pooling shadows. There’s also the vivid lighting that’s a result of ray tracing.

Meanwhile, the 3D audio helps players maintain that Smokin’ Sexy Style through all of the frenetic action and pulse-pounding score. How, you ask? Players are now able to hear with pin-point precision enemy movements below, above, or to any side of their character.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition also includes all Deluxe Edition and EX Color Pack contents previously released for Devil May Cry 5.

In addition to all the technical features, next-gen players can face the challenge of the Legendary Dark Knight difficulty. This mode adds what can be considered as a crazy amount of enemies for each encounter. Additionally, the new Turbo Mode ups the speed by 20% to allow for maximum stylish combos. As the cherry on top of all those offers, be ready to play the Vergil Mode. You got that right. Everyone can play Vergil and go through all the missions.

You’re probably asking "what about those who already own Devil May Cry 5 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or the PC?" Well, the Vergil content is being offered as a DLC beginning on December 15. It’s available for $4.99.

Devil May Cry 5 was released in 2019 and takes place five years after the end of the previous Devil May Cry. This time, players follow the journey of three warriors that try to stop the Demon King Urizen from destroying the world.
