Deliver Us Mars is currently in development and set to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. There’s also a version for PC coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game serves as a sequel to the 2019 game Deliver Us the Moon.

Before looking into what the game is all about, watch the teaser trailer below:

To have a better context, Deliver Us the Moon saw the natural resources of Earth being depleted. It follows the story of an astronaut sent on the moon to change the fate of humanity.

Deliver Us Mars is set a decade after the previous game and expands on its events. This new game also offers a more grounded approach to sci-fi storytelling while at the same time enriching the gameplay experience. Fans of the first game will surely love the deep connections between the two games. However, the game does stand on its own making it a good entry point for new players.

There are a lot of things that players can expect like new mechanics, which include a climbing system that allows characters to travel the red planet easily.

Features of the game are:

  • A Bold New Mission
    • A decade after the Fortuna mission, humanity remains closer than ever to extinction.
    • A mysterious distress call from Mars has been received, and players will join the Zephyr and its crew.
    • The team travels to Mars in an attempt to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward and ensure the survival of the human race.
  • Out of this World Gameplay
    • To discover the secrets of the Outward, players need to endure the harsh and unforgiving terrain.
    • Use a combination of brawn and brains to overcome any physical and mental challenges.
  • A Handcrafted Experience
    • Experience a highly polished and absorbing narrative experience packed with engaging gameplay.
    • Each moment is handcrafted and delivers a suspense-filled and emotion-fueled narrative.
    • Enjoy music from award-winning composer Sander Van Zanten.
