The fun and chaotic “Dronapocalypse” event in Crossout has returned and this time, there are some changes that you need to know about.

Dronapocalypse 2023

For those who are new to Crossout, Dronapocalypse is a limited-time 8v8 brawl where the main objective is to defeat the opposing team’s Leviathan. You cannot miss it because it’s a pretty colossal vehicle. But even though it’s relatively easy to hit due to its size, getting too close to it can be dangerous because the Leviathan is packed with a lot of firepower. That’s why a coordinated attack must be initiated for your team to secure the win.

All players in Dronapocalypse will use pre-assembled drones in this brawl. There’s also a unique respawn system, where you have to choose one of the five drones presented to you to continue the battle. If you’re unable to choose a drone in time, the game will pick one for you.

The frenetic Dronapocalypse not only requires skill, but also the right drones you’re going to deploy on the battlefield. Always choose the one that will benefit your team the most.

As mentioned earlier, there are some changes to this year’s Dronapocalypse. Instead of the El Diablo Gorge and a couple of arena maps, this year’s brawl will be held at the following locations:

  • Winter version of the City Pond
  • Deadly Crossing
  • Oasis

Furthermore, a special challenge will be available for you to complete every day. When you complete this challenge, you’ll be given a container filled with random stuff. Among the rewards are several items from previous April 1 events, as well as brand new ones, including:

  • Sticker “Smiley face”
  • Sticker “April fish”
  • “Comedians horn”
  • Hologram “Laughter”
  • Paint “Farce”

The Dronapocalypse 2023 event is now underway and will last until April 9.

New Pack

If you have some extra money to spend, you might be interested in purchasing the new Barghest Pack. This pack contains a bunch of Crossout goodies, such as:

  • Unique armored vehicle: “Trapper”
  • Cabin of epic rarity: “Ghost”
  • Minelayer of epic rarity: “Kapkan”

  • Unique paint can
  • A set of stickers
  • Unique hubcap with a hologram
  • 2,650 in-game coins
  • Increases the maximum number of parts used to 55

However, the Barghest Pack is not cheap as it is priced at $49.99.
