The holidays are here, so what better time for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled than to introduce the Winter Festival Grand Prix? Players can expect a new track, festive skins, holiday karts, and a whole lot more when the Winter Festival goes live on December 12 at 10:00 a.m. EST.

Let's go see what's coming.

New Track

The newest track comes straight of out the oven and brings with it all the fun of the season. The Gingerbread Joyride is more than ready for racers to take in the sights towards the finish line. Get to enjoy the gingerbread village and wonder at the sights of this frosty winter wonderland. It's not all fun though, as Gingerbread Joyride comes with the intensity of any Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled track.

New Racers

New racers are set to arrive as well along with the new track. Available in the Pit Stop this season is none other than Rilla Roo. Yaya Panda from Crash Nitro Kart 2 also makes her official debut in the game. Chick 'n Stew, meanwhile, have made the decision to leave the broadcasting booth and race themselves. Talk about not being on the sidelines anymore.

But wait, there's more. There's also a new character coming that's not from the Crash, or even the Spyro, universe. Meet the high flying moose Hasty. While new, this mammalian aviator comes with some shoutouts to deep CTR lore. Hasty can be unlocked using Nitro Points.

New Karts

So we have a new track and some new racers. Up next are the new rides. There are three themed karts coming. The first is the Snowplower along with the sweet and sugary Candy Cone. Both these karts can be unlocked with Nitro Points. The third one is the ultimate holiday machine, the Nitro Sleigh, and is available in the Pit Stop.

Pit Stop Offerings

The Pit Stop has a lot to offer, and we start with the baby Coco pajama skin. There's also the don pj’s for baby Crash along with the reindeer skin for the adult Crash Bandicoot. Players can also get the Arctic Nash and Winter Tawna skins to celebrate the holiday style.

The season also offers festive pastry wheels, merry paint-jobs, and even winter wonderful stickers.

However, the one item that stands apart from the rest is the Winter Guardian Spyro skin. This skin is an almost ethereal vision of Spyro with its sleek icy hue and imposing antlers. Get ahold of it and celebrate the season with your favorite lovable dragon.

Winter Rewards

This season, the Winter Festival Nitro Gauge is letting players earn even more more holiday rewards. All that needs to be done is fill the gauge and get the chance to earn the ugly sweater for Polar or the slick ski-suit for Hasty. More rewards are available by completing challenges throughout the Winter Festival Grand Prix.

Don’t forget as well to battle and become the the best. Earn the most Nitro Points and finish in the top 5% of the Grand Prix leaderboards to get the Championship Kart and the Winter Festival signature decal.

Like with any Grand Prix seasons released to date, this new content is available for every player who has purchased the game to unlock at no additional cost. All players need to do is download the update.
