If you love fighting games then be prepared, as the CEO 2019 Fighting Game Championships returns this June. Considered as one of the biggest fighting community events in the U.S., CEO 2019 takes place from June 28 to June 30 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
For this year, the tournament games include:
- Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4) Capcom Pro Tour Premier event with $15,000 prize bonus.
- Mortal Kombat 11 (PS4) Pro Kompetition Premier event with $15,000 Prize Bonus
- Tekken 7 (PS4) Tekken World Tour Master event with $5,000 prize bonus.
- Dragon Ball FighterZ (PS4)
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Dead or Alive 6 (PS4) World Championship Offline Fatal Match with $8,000 prize bonus
- Brawlhalla Singles and Doubles (PC) Midseason Championships with $50,000 combined prize pool
- Blazblue Central Fiction (PS4)
- Blazblue Cross Tag Battle (PS4)
- Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 (PS4)
- UNIST (PS4)
- Soul Calibur 6 (PS4)
It's not just about fighting games this year, as CEO 2019 is bringing back DDR Storm Tournaments:
- DDR Extreme Pro
- Pump It Up Prime XX
- In The Groove 2 Customs
CEO 2019 announced as well that it will introduce the latest tournament: the DDR Extreme Pro Freestyle tournament. There will also be news about DDR Ace.
The CEO 2019 is a tournament series and convention experience for fighting game fans. For this year, the registration prices are:
- Normal Registration ($75) is available until May 31
- Late Registration ($85) is available from June 1 until June 18 when online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. EST
All registrations include general seating access into the Arena Finals viewing hall. Premium "Ringside" seats are available for $25 extra. These seats are closer to the player entrances, action, and hype.
CEO Gaming revealed that there is no on-site emergency registration, so those who are not able to register to compete in official tournaments can purchase spectator badges, which are available on site.
Spectator Badges are:
- $50 3-day badge
- $25 1-day single day pass
The Spectator Badge allows attendees to watch the matches, but not join any in the tournament.
