During the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final, fans were treated to a one-two punch. The first one was a sneak peek at the upcoming Street Fighter 6. The game has been confirmed to be in development.

You can watch the teaser below:

The trailer gives everyone a quick look into the future as series mainstay Ryu goes against Luke. For those not familiar with this character, Luke is the 45th fighter to join the battle. He was the last character to appear in the first season pass of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition as well as the overall final playable character of Street Fighter V.

The Collection

Street Fighter 6 wasn’t the only thing announced during the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final. There’s also the Capcom Fighting Collection, an anthology of 10 classic titles. This collection is being released in celebration of 35 years of Capcom fighting games.

The collection has all five Darkstalkers to be launched outside of Japan. These are:

  • Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
  • Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  • Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
  • Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  • Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire.

This collection also has the first release of Red Earth outside arcades and is joined by:

  • Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
  • Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness

Players can also show their abilities by taking the fight online on all 10 titles in ranked, casual, and even custom matches. The online multiplayer is supported by a robust rollback netcode to allow for a low-latency experience when it comes to online battles. Meanwhile, Training Mode has been added to help novices learn the ropes and veterans hone their skills.

Fans can also enjoy a deeper dive into these classic titles and get a behind-the-scenes look at their creation through the in-game Museum. The gallery features at least 500 works of art which include concept sketches and design documents from titles.

Capcom Fighting Collection is releasing digitally on June 24 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Fighting game fans can look forward to this collection joining the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection as part of the Capcom Fighting Bundle.
