A new leak from an artist revealed the concept art for a canceled "Batman Arkham" game that was supposedly set to be developed by Rocksteady Studios. As of writing, there have been no explanations as to why this fourth game in the series was canceled, particularly as the first three games they released were a resounding success.
It has been a decade since the last "Batman Arkham" game was released, and there are still no details if it will get a sequel game to continue the iconic Caped Crusader's story as Gotham's protector.
Canceled 'Batman Arkham' Game Concept Art Leaks
A new set of concept art was shared online by a character artist called Rodrigue Pralier, and here, he revealed that this was supposed to be for a "canceled project" that never saw the light of day.
It has been a decade since this project was canceled but the content it brings is highly significant to fans and gamers of the franchise, clearly depicting a possible "Batman Arkham" game, according to ComicBook Gaming.
The concept art shows off the different characters who could have been leading this alleged canceled project, as well as the villains that would oppose the heroes in the game.
New Concept Art Shows Off Damian Wayne, Villains
This includes Bruce Wayne's one and only biological son, Damian. Alongside this, the concept art also showed off an old man's headshot, which is speculated as an older version of Bruce Wayne, now a retired billionaire who is sporting a beard, using a cane because of his injured leg, and leaving his crime-fighting days behind him.
Three villains were also shown in the concept art, featuring the likes of the menacing Killer Croc, the Huntress, and another unknown character.
The leak was picked up by a fan page on X dedicated to the "Batman Arkham" series, and it stirred up many reactions from the franchise's fans.
Many fans have expressed their frustration and dismay with Warner Bros. Games. One fan claimed that this game was canceled to make way for the 2022 action RPG from WB Games Montreal, "Gotham Knights," which is widely considered a "flop" by fans.

Will There Still be a Continuation to 'Batman Arkham'?
The question now remains if will there ever be a continuation to the "Batman Arkham" series to pick up the story from the last game released in 2015, "Batman: Arkham Knight." Sadly, there are still no confirmations regarding this game from either Rocksteady or WB Games.
It is also important to note that in the past decade, there have been no mentions of a possible continuation of the "Batman Arkham" franchise apart from its spiritual successors, "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" and "Gotham Knights." Both of these games are known for facing negative reviews from fans.
It has also not been verified as of press time if the latest leak came from the studios themselves or if they are only fan-made.
