Call of Duty: Warzone is a very popular battle royale game with millions of players across the globe and available on multiple platforms, such as Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Because of its popularity, some will use any means necessary to win. While having good skill in such a game is always appreciated, many players would use cheat tools like this one, revealed on Twitter.

@RayTheGreat posted a video of one of his matches. He noticed that one player was able to kill enemies without actually aiming at them.

On the said post, a user commented that it was a known issue and other popular streamers have noticed it as well. Another user replied that it is a hack and not an issue, though developer Raven Software has not issued a statement at this time.

The Cheat

The insane accuracy has divided users. One side says it's an exploitable in-game issue but the other says that it's a hack, more specifically an aimbot.

An aimbot is a program used to help players have an impeccable aim in first-person shooting games.

The hacker on the video did not aim directly at the enemies yet it seems the bullets ricochet to damage other players. The bouncing bullets have a 100% accuracy and because aimbots are stealthy, they may not be flagged easily as hacking software by the game’s anti-cheating system.

Making Things Better

The developer makes sure that everyone gets to enjoy the game. In fact, they have initiated continuous ban waves to deter people from using any cheating program.

But despite their best efforts, many players still find new ways to exploit anything that they can use to their advantage.

For now, what you can do is use any video recording software when you are playing. If you find players who you think are cheating, report them immediately.

Have you encountered any cheaters lately?
