"Call of Duty" sent out a new survey to fans which asked them about what specific plot they would like to see adapted into a live-action movie, and it is now taken as a hint as to what will be featured.
'Call of Duty' Survey Hints at Potential Plot for Movie
DETONATED shared a report about their latest discovery of a circulating "Call of Duty" Recon survey that has been sent to players under the program. The survey is said to have asked about what potential plot they would like to see in a live action movie.
Here, players were given five choices to choose from and were asked to rank these based on their preference.
However, it was noted that there were no mentions of it being the Paramount-produced film adaptation of the franchise, but it is heavily believed that it could potentially be for the said movie.
There were specific sub-franchises of "Call of Duty" that were mentioned in the survey, with these being best known for already having a specific plot in its campaign and are already complete with characters, settings, and more.
That said, it was not revealed by the survey if the winning choice would be faithfully adopted in the said live action movie.

What to Expect from 'Call of Duty's' Live Action Movie?
According to GameRant, the leak mentioned specific sub-franchises of the action-shooter game, and they are as follows:
- "Black Ops"
- "Modern Warfare"
- "Call of Duty Zombies"
- Not "Black Ops" or "Modern Warfare"
- New "Call of Duty" story
The choices bring an interesting take on what "Call of Duty's" potential plot details would bring, as two of the most famous sub-franchises under its universe were mentioned. "Black Ops" remains as one of the longest-running sub-franchises under the brand, with it already pushing for its seventh mainline installment this year.
"Modern Warfare," on the other hand, already has four games in total. That being said, there is also a possibility that the live-action team is considering the more fictional and occult "Zombies" sub-franchise, which is best known for having a massive cult following.
