Activision just announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer mode will have a free weekend. This announcement came from the game's official Twitter account.
The best part of the free to play weekend is Activision is giving access to five maps this time. The last time Activision announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer mode would have a free weekend they only gave access to two maps. You can download the game on Battlenet or Xbox/PSN stores, but the size of the game is over 90GB, which will take a long time to download.
The five maps that are seen in the tweet seem to be Talsik Backlot, Aniyah Incursion, Khandor Hideout, Hovec Sawmill, and Shoot House. But, beware of the hackers rampaging around the game, as the number of hackers has risen in all games during the past few weeks. Activision has a good anti-cheat and they perma-ban the players who uses cheats/hacks, which helps the experience for players.
As of now, the game modes included in this free weekend haven’t been confirmed, but it should be the classics such as Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirm, Domination, and Search & Destroy. You can access the multiplayer modes if you have already downloaded Warzone, so you do not have to download the entire game. Don’t forget that the game will be super laggy as the servers always tend to have issues when players overload them.
So, what do you think about Activision giving out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer for free for another weekend? Are you interested in trying out the game once the free weekend starts? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
