An exciting season up ahead.

Call of Duty League announced that the 2021 season is almost here. It’s not all that’s happening since there are going to be some changes to the overall structure.

The regular season will have five stages with each one leading up to a Major. At each stage, teams get to compete in five group play matches that determine the seed for the corresponding Major. Plus, each will see matches being played for three Home Series weeks.

For the Majors, it’s going to feature 12 teams in the Call of Duty League. All will go head-to-head in a double-elimination competition.

Like last year, teams get to earn CDL for every match won throughout the season. There are also extra points given to teams based on how they performed at the Majors. Getting CDL Points will be important for the upcoming season. Teams need to fight for their spot in the new season to get a chance to become one of the eight teams qualifying for the 2021 Call of Duty League Playoffs.

Under the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War era, the different pro teams face each other in Bo5 matches and 4v4 battles played on PC using League-approved controllers.
