Borderlands 3 has launched a limited-time mini-event titled "Show Me the Eridium." It’s already started and will last until April 8. During the event period, players can expect higher Eridium drops in Mayhem Mode and Eridium drops from standard enemies. There’s also a discounted price for Eridium to use Moxxi's Vault Line slot machine. Finally, there’s the discount offer for all items being sold by Crazy Earl at the Cargo Bay of Sanctuary III.

In a post, Borderlands 3 revealed that this is perfect to get Eridium, especially for those preparing to take on an incoming raid boss. This same raid boss is arriving with the Director’s Cut, dropping April 8.

New Machines

Once the event is done, players can expect a lot more from new machines. The first is Crazy Earl’s Reroll Machine that Vault Hunters are sure to love. It’s going to be located in the cargo bay of Sanctuary III across the Veteran Rewards vending machine. By using Eridium, the machine replaces an existing Anointment on a player’s items.

For those new to the game, Anointments are powerful effects that can be attached to some items, which unlock the full potential of the character build. By being able to reroll this Anointment, players can optimize their loadout. This makes joining the mini-event even more important right?

The second is the Black Market Vending Machine. No specific details have been revealed yet except that it will offer top-tier Legendary loot. Additionally, this machine is going to be hidden in a new location every week.
