Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley to Grace Cover of WWE 2K24 Deluxe Edition

A first in the franchise! 2K

For the first time in the history of the franchise, two women are set to be on the cover of a WWE 2K game. That's right! Divas Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley are going to be on the cover of the Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K24. The game is coming out this March and to be available for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X/S.

In a statement, Bianca Belair shared being on the cover serves as "an incredible milestone" in her career and excited to show why this game is a must have. Meanwhile for Rhea Ripley, there's no question that she's more than proven her worth in the industry. She said that she's proud to add being a cover Superstar for the game to her list of accomplishments.

Meanwhile for the Standard Edition, the cover is going to be graced by none other than "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. There's also going to be Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition cover which features an original artwork that celebrates the most iconic Legends and Superstars in the history of WrestleMania. These include the likes of Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and The Rock.

WWE 2K24 is set to features some of the hallmarks of the franchise along with new additions and twists on fan favorites. Players for example can look forward to trying out four new match types which are Special Guest Referee, Ambulance Match, Casket Match, and Gauntlet Match.

There are also improvements done on some of the existing match types. For instance, the Backstage Brawl now offers 4-player support along with new interactive environmental elements like a working elevator, breakable control room glass, and a vending machine with throwable sodas. For the Royal Rumble, the match now offers support for eight online players in 30-Superstar online matches.

The upcoming title is also set to introduce gameplay upgrades. Improvements were done on various features like Super Finishers, the Trading Blows mini-game, top rope dive onto a group of opponents outside the ring, double title matches, and new Paybacks. New weapon types have been added like trash cans, guitars and microphones.

The WWE 2K24 Deluxe Edition and Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition are set to be released on March 5 with the Standard Edition and Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition coming out on March 8.
