Season 2 of Battlefield 2042 is finally here. Titled Master of Arms, there's a lot of new content to be excited about.
The arrival of a new season also means access to a new Battle Pass. There's a total of 100 tiers available with players being able to unlock Free and Premium content. Free tiers give access to the new Specialist Charlie Crawford along with weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics, to name a few. Meanwhile, those who complete Premium tiers get to unlock items, including Skins, BFC, Player Cards, Weapon Charms, and Takedowns.
New Specialist
The new Specialist Charlie Crawford has a Mounted Vulcan and can support the team while laying down solid defense. The Mounted Vulcan is a stationary minigun that lays down immense firepower and is effective against infantry and light vehicles. His trait is Cache Point which helps replenish Gadget ammo for friends that he revives.
New Weapons
- AM40
- This ambidextrous weapon is intended for close-quarters combat and delivers an Assault Rifle in an SMG-like package.
- Versatile and controllable, it's a weapon that works well in short-range combat.
- Avancys
- The heavy usage of polymers and 3D Printing allows the Avancys to be lighter by 20% compared to Machine Guns.
- It’s a versatile weapon good at sustained fire.
- PF51
- With the P90 magazine equipped, this was originally a semi-automatic weapon with the ability to fire in full-auto to maximize personal defense capabilities while sacrificing ammo efficiency.
- It’s lightweight and perfect for combat over minimal distances.
New Vehicle
Players can now go from point A to point B with the EBLC-RAM. This fast and highly maneuverable armored reconnaissance and attack vehicle was designed mainly for hit-and-run strikes against the enemy. It also can place a Spawn Beacon on the Battlefield where any member of the friendly team can deploy.
The vehicle also comes equipped with an Active Protection System to intercept any incoming anti-vehicle weapons.
