The launch of Bassmaster Fishing 2022 is still months away but players can expect a great experience once it's released. A total of eight locations will be available at launch and all of them are based on the real world.
Each of the locations offers various opportunities and challenges, including dense swamps and open waters. Regardless, every location features stunning scenery and a day and night cycle for an immersive experience. There’s even a GPS map marker system to make sure that players can keep track of those hotspots.
One of the locations is Lake Ray Roberts where none other than Hank Cherry Jr. won the 51st Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic. By the way, Hank is a playable angler in the game.
Here’s the official lineup of locations arriving in the game:
- Lake Hamilton
- Located in the Ouachita Mountains and part of the Hot Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area, this is considered one of Arkansas’ most popular fisheries.
- Toledo Bend
- Separating Texas and Louisiana, this reservoir lies in the heart of the beautiful Sabine National Forest.
- St. Lawrence River
- This is the river that connects the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean.
- This is where the Smallmouth Bass takes center stage.
- Chickamauga Lake
- Considered as the “The Land of the Giants” due to the Largemouth Bass, it has been rated by Bassmaster Magazine as the second-best bass fishing lake in the US.
- Lake Ray Roberts
- This is the same venue that was chosen for the 2021 Bassmaster Classic.
- It’s sure to be a hit not only with the pros but also with fans.
- St. Johns River, Palatka
- This is Florida’s longest river and is a regular venue for the Bassmaster Elite Tour.
- Guntersville Scottsboro
- The largest lake in Alabama and a favorite on the Elite Tour.
- Sabine River
- A good venue for competitive B.A.S.S. events especially with the huge varieties of areas where anglers can fish.
Bassmaster Fishing 2022 is launching this fall on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. For those who can’t wait for the release, developer Dovetail Games is now accepting sign-ups for the closed alpha. You can register here.
