Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix #12 (Version 4.1.1.118268) is now available and it is meant to fix a lot of game crashes that you may have experienced before.

Patch 5 was introduced earlier this month and it brought about improvements in the enemy AI, refinements to the dice system, and a newly revamped camping system, among many others.

While there are many things great about the last content patch, new bugs have surfaced that require the deployment of a hotfix.

Hotfix Highlights

Tooltips are supposed to provide you with useful bits of information. However, some tooltips have been found to crash the game client. Thankfully, these have been fixed in the update.

Aside from those, a rare crash can be triggered when loading your saved games during multiplayer. Isn’t it frustrating when this happens? Do not worry as the developers have found a way to prevent this issue from happening again.

As mentioned earlier, Patch 5 introduced some refinements to the dice system in the game. You may have noticed that when you’re on the Active Roll UI, you may have heard some sound effects overlapping each other. This could be seen as a minor bug, but it is still annoying nevertheless. This has been fixed now, so you shouldn’t be hearing those weird sounds anymore.
