Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has unveiled its monthly update for September. For this month, the focus is on unique content that includes Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece, Lost Tales of Greece: Sokrates' Trial, and the Myrmidon Pack. This month's update also has a short discussion on the changes coming to the Story Creator Mode.

Let's start off with the Myrmidon Character Pack. This pack is available on September 17 not only in the store, but also at the Oikos of the Olympians. Get the chance to wear the armor set worn by the warriors fighting in the Trojan War. It includes a gear, a spear, and a mount.

Lost Tales of Greece: Sokrates' Trial

For Sokrates' Trial, players get a mysterious note which asks that they visit an old friend. However, upon arriving, they learn that their friend is caught in a mess and has been arrested. Players need to look into who is behind the arrest and clear the name of their friend. Sokrates' Trial was released last September 3 and is available for free to all players of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

In order to get access to Lost Tales of Greece, players need to reach Chapter 5 of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's main path.

Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece

Launched September 10, Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece lets players travel this ancient world free of conflict with the gameplay constraints of the main game removed. Roam Ancient Greece at your own pace with this educational mode. Players can look forward to:

  • Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece features five Tour Guides - Aspasia, Barnabas, Markos, Herodotos, and Leonidas.
  • Interact with more than 300 World stations and 30 Guided tours scattered across 29 regions.
  • Tours cover five different themes (philosophy, famous cities, daily life, war, and myths). Test your knowledge with a quiz after the completion of each guided tour and unlock additional avatars.
  • Explore with 35 unique avatars and 15 mounts, accessible by progressing through Discovery Tour objectives.

Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece is also available as a standalone feature for the PC and can be purchases through Uplay for $19.99.

Story Creator Mode

For the Story Creator Mode, the development team added a kill starter last September 5. With this feature, creators can set the ability to start a quest by eliminating a target. The dialogue editor has been improved and now has a notification when the number of dialogues and sequences used has reached a certain limit. Later this year, the team is going to make some changes on the number of characters that can be present in one dialogue sequence.
