American Horror Story Season 6 continues to be one big mystery, but there are several actors confirmed for the upcoming anthology. While reports indicate that the overall cast may be smaller than what has been seen in previous seasons, there are still many AHS alumni who have not confirmed their involvement in Season 6. AHS is known for short lived cameos so it won’t be surprising if actors are included for just a few episodes but aren’t a part of the main cast. Currently, there is no word on whether new actors will debut in American Horror Story Season 6. Here’s a rundown of actors who could possibly make an appearance on Season 6.

American Horror Story Season 6 Unconfirmed Actors

Finn Wittrock has indicated that he is in talks with American Horror Story showrunners about a possible role in Season 6. However, many publications have noted that she told the Wrap in 2015 that she would be open to returning for a small role or a few episodes of Murphy ever asked. Publications have speculated the coming season could have a Antichrist connection to Season 1. Fans will remember that Lange’s Season 1 character, Constance Langdon, was the grandmother of this supposed Antichrist character. However, this speculation currently remains a musing among fans. Lange starred in Seasons 1- 4 of American Horror Story.

Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts was unable to participate in American Horror Story: Hotel because of her role on the Fox horror-comedy Scream Queens. Connie Britton has not confirmed whether she will return to American Horror Story for Season 6. Publications have speculated about her possible return to the show after the ABC country music drama Nashville was cancelled. Since then, Nashville showrunners have struck a deal with CMT to reboot the show; however, there is no word on when production would presume. Britton could also fit into Season 6 if the Antichrist theme turns out to be true as her character in Season 1, Vivien Harmon, was the mother of the character believed to be the Antichrist. Britton also participated in a tribute video for the Orlando shooting victims, which was produced by Ryan Murphy. Wittrock starred in Season 1 of American Horror Story.
