Villains are crucial to any animated series, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime sees them push our favorite duelists to their limits. Now Konami is looking to celebrate these baddies, with the announcement of the next Legendary Duelists set.

Ancient Millennium will put a spotlight on some of the villains of the popular anime and bring their most used cards to the forefront, with tweaked abilities and reprints. Releasing on Feb. 23, Ancient Millennium will include 53 cards, 27 Common Cards, 10 Rare Cards, 8 Super Rare Cards and 8 Ultra Rare Cards.

The first Yu-Gi-Oh ! villain is Maximillion Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monsters and the first baddie Yugi had to face (outside of Kaiba in the first episode, of course). Pegasus used his powerful Thousand-Eyes Restrict card to bring Yugi to his knees before he pulled out the victory. In Ancient Millennium, that powerful monster is getting a revamp, along with the Illusionist Faceless Mage.

You can check out those cards on the box art below.

Weevil Underwood gets a boost to his insect cards as well. He will get a brand new parasite card, an upgrade to his Insect Queen as well as his Cocoon of Evolution. Perhaps duelists will finally be able to unleash the Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth!

Bandit Keith is getting a brand new Barrel Dragon that can destroy up to three cards on the field per turn, and a card that will allow for all of his coin toss effects to be heads. Gamble decks will surely love these new cards.

But that’s not all, Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium will bring new cards from the GX series. Ancient Gear cards based on Professor Crowler, new Crystal Beast cards from Jesse Anderson and new union cards from Chazz Princeton will all be included in the new set.

So what do you think of this new set of cards coming to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG? Which card are you hoping to pull? Let us know in the comments section below.
