The Xbox Game Pass is only one month old this July, and the service is already expanding by adding eight new games on July 1. Even better, only one of them is an Xbox 360 title, meaning these are actually new games.

The list of new additions are as follows:

  • Dead Island Definitive Edition

  • Resident Evil 6

  • F1 2015

  • The Flame in the Flood

  • Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition

  • Bard’s Gold

  • Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine

  • Payday 2

Additionally, Payday 2 DLC will be discounted from July 1 to July 16. All add-ons will be 25 percent off for Xbox Game Pass members.

These games will be added to the already impressive list of 100+ titles included with Xbox Game Pass. Some highlights include the BioShock series, every Gears of War game except Gears of War 4, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, WWE 2K16 and many more. In case you aren’t aware, the Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service allowing gamers unlimited access to every included game. That means you can download and play as much or as little as you’d like of every Xbox One and Xbox 360 title included in the program. More games will be getting added to Xbox Game Pass every month from here forward. The Xbox Game Pass is exclusive to the Xbox One for now.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also buy games and DLC for a reduced price as well. Any game that is currently included in the Xbox Game Pass program will be available to buy for 20 percent off, and any DLC will be 10 percent off. This is only for Xbox One games, Xbox 360 games are not discounted.

The service costs $9.99/month, but there is currently a 14-day free trial if you want to try out Xbox Game Pass before you sign up.

So what do you think? Are you interested in playing any of these games on your Xbox One? What games would need to be added to the program to get you interested in signing up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
