2K Games officially revealed the first two screenshots for their upcoming wrestling game, WWW 2K20.
The first shot shows the ever-menacing Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way down to the ring. Lesnar looks like he is ready to kick some serious ass. The second shot is SmackDown Women's champion Bayley, who has just emerged from the entranceway and has beside her none other than her inflatable arm-flailing tube men (better known as the Bayley Buddies).
This confirms, at the very least, that both Brock and Bayley are part of the upcoming game.
Save for the two screenshots, no other details have been given except that an more information about the game is expected to be released on Monday, August 5. Hopefully it gives everyone a better look on the upcoming title.
There have been a lot of talk regarding the status of WWE 2K20 considering that by this time, more information about the game should have been out. Some players have even gone so far as to say that the game may have been cancelled. However, with the release of the screenshots and the update that information is coming appears to say that the game will be moving forward.
The community so far has been discussing which WWE superstars are likely going to be part of the game. Rumored roster members to be in the game include:
- AJ Styles & Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows
- Considering how these three stars remains to be some of WWE's hottest with the newly founded The OC could ensure that they are part of the game's roster.
- Becky Lynch
- What can you say about The Man? Her WrestleMania 35 main event win should pave the way to an entry in the roster.
- Jinder Mahal
- While there are those who consider him as the worst WWE Champion of all time, a new five-year deal with WWE could very well put him in the roster.
- Paige
- Despite an absence in the ring, Paige continues to be one of the most highly regarded wrestlers in WWE.
- Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins
- There is little doubt that these two will be part of WWE 2K20. Don't expect a Shield reunion though, as Dean Ambrose has left the WWE and is not with AEW.
- Ronda Rousey
- Rousey is currently on a hiatus, but with a contract good until 2021, there's a large chance she has enough weight to be in the game.
