Blizzard has announced another stress test for World of Warcraft Classic, the third one following the game’s official announcement. However, there’s quite a big difference for this stress test: for the first time, it will be made available to anyone with an active World of Warcraft game account in the Americas & Oceania region.

Previously, World of Warcraft Classic underwent specialized testing for the Alterac Valley, in which just one realm was made available. The server closed yesterday, which brought back the closed beta realms for further testing. Now, Blizzard has decided that the time is ripe to test server capacity and strength once again.

Later today, World of Warcraft Classic will be made available for download to all eligible players in the Americas and Oceania region. For players in these regions who have not yet tested the game, this is your chance to do so; just be sure that your World of Warcraft account has an active subscription.

Community manager Kaivax further detailed this upcoming stress test on the Blizzard forums, stating that all races and classes will be made available for creation, with the maximum character level capped at 15. The vast open world will be made available to all players at this time, with additional instances available at Warsong Gulch for PvP, as well as Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns, and Deadmines. At the current level cap, Deadmines is very challenging, so tread with caution if you want to try it out.

The post also makes a note asking players to focus on playing as much as possible during the first three hours of the test. This stress test will be made available on June 20 at 8:00 a.m. EDT, and will be available for 48 hours. During this time, Blizzard will be looking for active player input for World of Warcraft Classic, specifically towards any issues which may come with such a huge playerbase at launch.

World of Warcraft Classic will be released on PC on August 27.
