A new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out this week, CD Projekt Red has confirmed, and the game’s latest patch includes fixes for dozens of lingering issues in what is inarguably one of the largest games released during 2015. There’s even a bit of clean-up for Hearts of Stone, the first official expansion for The Witcher 3.

Word of the latest update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes courtesy of the CD Projekt Red forums, where a member of the Witcher 3 team announced the arrival of Patch 1.12 on Monday morning. In addition to correcting a variety of issues from the base game, that haven’t been addressed in previous Witcher 3 updates, the new patch also includes fixes bugs discovered in the Hearts of Stone DLC. Best of all, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.12 is currently available on all platforms.

Quest fixes for the base game take up the largest share of the patch notes for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.12. The issues addressed in this week’s patch are as diverse as one would expect from a game as big as The Witcher 3. Patch 1.12 eliminates a bug that left human NPCs, with empty Vitality bars, unable to be killed by the player. Those who’ve had trouble with the monster disappearing, while attempting to complete Contract: Phantom of the Trade Route will also be pleased to hear the issue has been fixed.

The latest update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also addressed plenty of other aspects of the game. There are fixes for the game’s “living world” mechanics, like a bug that caused destroyed monster nests to respawn after a set period, along with visual and audio fixes. Patch 1.12 fixes some NPC animations, makes a previously unlootable chest lootable again, and a bug that made certain mini-bosses immortal.

Unfortunately, as we’ve mentioned a couple of times already, the full list of changes for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.12 is pretty lengthy. Far longer than we can repost here, without creating the kind of text wall that makes even the most voracious reader’s eyes glaze over.
