The Last of Us Part 2 was announced over the weekend, and more information on the project is already coming in. While we still don’t have a release date (or even a release year) yet, we do know some other news, like who is working on the script.

As confirmed by Neil Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us, Halley Gross will co-write The Last of Us Part 2. Gross is a veteran movie and TV writer, with credits including HBO’s Westworld. She can also be seen on screen in small acting roles in Across the Universe, Broad City and more.

As for what the story will be about, the game is set years after the events of The Last of Us, with Ellie now being a 19-year-old. It is confirmed that Ellie is the playable character, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be time for Joel to be around. If the first game is any indication, we might end up playing as both of them at some point.

Druckmann also gave out a small spoiler regarding the story: “it’s intense.” Obviously.
