Western Digital Offering 3 New SSD Solutions for Gamers

There’s no question that this is a good time to be a video gamer. For one, there’s a lot of new video games being released bringing a next-level experience. Then, there are various software upgrades and hardware offerings to further improve that experience.

Western Digital recently revealed its latest offering and it has not one but three new SSDs. These newest additions give gamers solutions to upgrade either their PC or next-gen consoles.

SN750 SE NVMe

The first of these solutions is the WD_BLACK SN750 SE NVMe SSD. With this, gamers can level up their PC through the PCIe Gen4 technology and ensure more storage space for more games. By leveraging PCIe Gen4 technology, this storage solution can offer read speeds of as much as 3,600 MB per second.

Compared to its predecessor, this new model uses 30% less power and it means laptop gamers can expect longer play times between charges. It also comes with WD_BLACK Dashboard to monitor the health of the drive even when streaming.

The WD_BLACK SN750 SE NVMe SSD is offered in 250 GB, 500 GB, and 1 TB capacities and is priced starting at $54.99.

D30 Game Drive

The second is the WD_BLACK D30 Game Drive SSD, a good option for console gamers who want to minimize game load times. This high-performance SSD can read speeds of as much as 900 MB/s. With such speed, gamers can spend more time playing them, and with huge storage capacities, less time deleting games. Moreover, this system has been designed to complement next-gen consoles, especially with the detachable stand.

The WD_BLACK D30 Game Drive SSD comes in 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities and is priced starting at $89.99.

D30 Game Drive for Xbox

Finally, there is the WD_BLACK D30 Game Drive SSD for Xbox. This SSD offers accelerated speeds and capacity and is wrapped in an Xbox-inspired design. Gamers can simply plug in the drive and immediately build their game library, among others.

The WD_BLACK D30 Game Drive SSD for Xbox comes in 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities and is priced starting at $99.99. It comes with a one-month membership of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

In a press statement, Rob Soderbery of Western Digital shared that the brand has always been about giving gamers fast and reliable storage. He added that the latest offerings are sure to be highly appreciated by every gamer.
