You may think you’re an expert when it comes to street racing. Think again as this week in The Crew 2 is all about drifting. That’s right, time to leave those sports cars at home and instead use those JDM tuners.

The Drifters LIVE Summit starts on September 16 and runs through until September 23. Get the chance to fight it out on the leaderboards in order to get some cool prizes. Of course, the ultimate bragging rights is to be dubbed as the drift king or drift queen.

For this week, three Skills are going to be tested. There’s Speedtrap, where players need to get as much speed as they can and then drive by a camera that records their speed. The second skill is Slalom, which has a set slalom course that players need to zig-zag their way through without colliding with a checkpoint. Finally, there is Escape, where players need to drive away from a red circle that continues to expand.

Races for this week include The Giants Chaebung Cup, Airport Teminal E, Going to Vegas, and The Strip West. Then there is the Motor Trend Classic Challenge.

In order to make the most of this week’s Skills and Races, there’s the Drifters LIVE Summit Bundle, which offers these vehicles:

  • Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (1999) – Street Racing
  • Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (2014) – Drift
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 (2002) – Touring Car
  • Nissan R390 GT1 Road Version (1998) – Hyper Car
  • Honda S2000 (2009) – Street Racing

Do your best as there are a lot of excellent things in store this week that include:

  • Platinum: Kuroi Kumo Tint
  • Gold: Buck Shaped Smoke
  • Silver: Legendary HC Perf Parts (Nitro Chemist Set, Pure & Frenetic)
  • Bronze: 300K Followers

If you’re not into this whole Drifting this, not to worry since the Far & Beyond Store is offering the Laser Blast Bundle starting on September 16. This vehicle and vanity bundle comes with an array of vanity items that can help you deck out the Honda Civic Type R (2016).

Upcoming Update

During the Ubisoft Forward Event last week, The Crew 2 revealed that it’s going to introduce a big update on November 25. One of the biggest changes the update will include is that The Crew 2 is going to introduce a new format to the LIVE events. Learn more about that here.
