In Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 episode 4, which airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC, Meredith and Riggs may be so preoccupied with their courting that it may cost them a patient.
As the two continue to keep their relationship secret, Riggs suggests that they spend more time together. However, Meredith is not on board with the idea. An episode 4 promo hints that Meredith makes a wrong move pertaining to a patient’s care after considering advice from Riggs. The patient may take a turn for the worst became of her actions. This may cause Meredith to resist taking things further with Riggs.

Alex is pushing through his punishment of working in the hospital clinic after attacking a fellow doctor so badly he is facing felony charges. Amid his punishment, he realizes he has little clout as a doctor in the clinic. When he needs a favor, the nurse in charge of the clinic refuses to help him. We will see during episode 4 if Alex is able to overcome this issue and make friends with the nurse.
Meanwhile, Jackson and April continue tackling being new parents. Newly married Amelia seems to be coming out of the honeymoon phase of her marriage to Owen and is questioning their relationship.
